Life teaches you to keep everything private whether it be health, stories from the past, relationships and so on. To an extent, I totally agree, some things people don’t need to know. On top of that, being a blogger, you have to be even more sensitive with what information you’re putting out there because essentially, you’re choosing to put yourself in the public eye; there will always be a chance that that information will be used against you!
For a 21 year old, I’d say I have a hell of a lot of stories to tell. I often think about writing about some of these things and posting them on my blog, however my mind always goes back to that hidden rule of ‘keeping things private’ and I suppose I always worry that people will criticise me for putting myself out there.
I am a very open and honest person. I wear my heart on my sleeve and will always openly speak about something if someone asks me, so why should this be any different on my blog? If you meet me in person, one thing you’ll learn is that as long as I’m true to myself and the people I love, I’m not bothered about what other people think however that hasn’t been the case with my blog up until now.
If there’s one thing I’ve learnt over the past few months, it’s to do things for yourself and not be so worried what others think, so from now on, I plan to be a lot more open on my blog and hope that along the way, I can help some of you guys and maybe teach a few lessons.
All my love,
